A&Y SOCIAL
Hangout Guidelines
A welcoming group experience starts with clear expectations.
1. Who can come
Men and women aged 18 and older are welcome. Come on your own or bring friends. Check the event’s venue rules, including any higher minimum age. You do not need to buy an A&Y service, become an A&Y Host, or create an account.
Hangouts are casual group activities for conversation, friendship, and an enjoyable time together. They are not dating appointments, therapy, crisis care, or a promise of one-to-one attention.
2. Free participation and personal costs
A&Y does not charge a Hangout admission or RSVP fee. Event pages explain expected venue costs. You pay for your own tickets, food, drinks, transport, and other personal purchases unless the event specifically says something is included. Venue estimates are not a guarantee of third-party prices.
3. Joining and getting updates
Most Hangouts have open attendance. “Join us” records your plans and update preferences; it does not guarantee entry to a third-party venue. An event with limited spaces says so on its page. Include the friends you plan to bring so the host can prepare and, for a limited event, count the whole group toward the available spaces.
Save your private event-updates link to check details and manage messages. Keep it private: anyone with the link can access that record. A name or email alone does not unlock someone’s details. There is no cancellation step or no-show penalty for an open Hangout; you can contact the host or A&Y if your plans change.
Email and text updates are separate choices. Confirm a selected contact channel before receiving ongoing messages. Automatic reminders depend on the delivery and scheduling setup shown on the website. Check the event’s current status before travelling, even if you have requested reminders. Event cancellations and their reasons appear on the event page and your private updates page. Contact support@alwaysandyours.com if you need help.
4. Meeting and accessibility
Use the published public meeting point and start and end times. Arrange your own transport. Private homes, hotel visits, pickups, and transportation services are not part of Hangouts. Review the accessibility and activity notes before reserving; ask support about anything that is unclear. You may leave if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
5. Respect the whole group
- Respect personal space and accept “no” immediately.
- Keep conversation appropriate for a public group. Paid host offerings and After Dark appearance do not set the boundaries of a Hangout.
- No nudity, sexual services, threats, harassment, discrimination, stalking, coercion, or illegal activity.
- Do not pressure people to date, buy a service, share contact details, drink, or continue an interaction.
- Follow the venue’s rules and do not attend while impaired in a way that puts others at risk.
6. Photos, contact details, and privacy
Do not record, photograph, publish, or tag another attendee without their permission. Joining an outing is not a media release. Contact information is provided privately to A&Y and the assigned host for event administration, not a public directory. A&Y’s private Connection Card system is not used for Hangouts.
Offers are optional and have their own email and text choices. Agreeing to event updates does not subscribe you to paid-service promotions. Manage your choices through your private updates link; where text messages are enabled, you can also reply STOP. Hosts may have a link to paid A&Y services, but exploring or buying those services is entirely your choice.
The Privacy & Cookie Policy explains the records we store, private-link access, and how to request corrections or deletion.
7. Hosting and concerns
The named host helps welcome the group and guide the published activity. Host fees, where agreed, are paid separately by A&Y. Attendees are not responsible for paying the host for joining the group. A&Y may cancel an outing or restrict participation when needed to address conduct or safety concerns.
Let the host know about a concern at the event when safe to do so. You can also report a concern to A&Y without an account. Include the event name and date. For immediate danger, call local emergency services.
8. A separate community experience
Hangouts have their own RSVP, attendance, and host-payment records. They do not consume paid session credits or create a paid appointment. Paid services continue to follow their own approval, payment, consent, and booking rules.
