A&Y organizes the outing and arranges the host. Joining the group is free. Hosts are paid by A&Y for hosting, not by charging you to attend.
You cover your own food, drinks, tickets, transport, and other personal venue expenses. Each event lists expected costs before you join.
Who can come?
Adults 18+ of all genders are welcome. Some venues or activities have a higher minimum age, shown on the event page.
Hangouts are for people who want company, friendship, or a fun reason to get out. You don’t need to be a paid A&Y client.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely. Your host welcomes the group and helps with introductions. You can take part at your own pace.
Friends are welcome too, and you can include them in your group estimate. Everyone must meet the outing’s age requirements and follow the community guidelines.
Is this a date or a private A&Y session?
No. This is a hosted group outing, with your host’s attention shared across the group.
Joining doesn’t include a date, private session, or access to anyone’s paid services.
What happens when I join?
You’ll see the meeting details and a private link for your update preferences.
If you ask for emails, verify your address to receive event reminders. We show you whether each notification channel is ready.
Most public outings have open attendance. Joining helps your host plan; it does not guarantee admission to a venue. Any limited group spaces are clearly marked.
What if my plans change?
There is no A&Y cancellation fee or no-show penalty. Send your host a text or email if you would like to let them know.
You can turn off event updates through your private preferences link.
Will I receive offers?
Only if you separately choose them. Event updates and optional A&Y offers have separate preferences.
No purchase is ever required to attend a hangout.
How do we keep it comfortable?
Respect personal space and boundaries. Ask before photographing or sharing someone’s details. Harassment and pressure to buy or participate are not welcome.
